Real Mars!

Mars is also known as Barsoom... At least that's what
many of the old science fiction writers used to call it. And yet,
who would have guessed that so much of what Edgar
Rice Burroughs and Ray
Bradbury wrote about Mars in their fantastic yarns could turn out to
be true... It simply amazes me! They sure had the surface of Mars
pegged right from the start! And these days, much of what our old
science fiction writers wrote about seems to have come true! The
things we've accomplished these last 100 years are simply astounding!
Mars has always been a planet of mystery, but finally, in our 21st century, the real Mars is beginning to reveal it's long held secrets... Some people see the ruins of ancient cities, traces of past civilizations, fossils and even strange creatures! And Mars is now known to have water - at least in the form of ice in some places on its surface... Many scientists also believe that untold amounts of water exist below the surface of Mars, too. So the possibilities for existing life on Mars in some form still remains the unanswered question.
I've been studying digital images of Mars since 1994. Over those many years I've noted a number of strange features on the planets' surface, the most interesting of which are illustrated below... But lets not forget, digital data can be misleading, especially when processed. We can't really find out the truth about Mars until man actually steps foot on the surface of Mars to see for himself. Until then we will continue to speculate about past life on Mars and whether or not life continues to exist on Mars even today!
